The Consorcio Agua para Gamboa is in charge of developing the study, design, construction, operation and maintenance of the José “Pepe” Fierro water treatment plant located in Gamboa (Colón). It is a project commissioned by the National Government of Panama
Since October 2018, Grúas Orión has been working , with the construction company Cobra and the company Tedagua on the construction, development and operation of the Gamboa treatment plant.
For 4 years, we've been working intensively on this project with our crane trucks PK80 y PK44.
Collaborating with all of our expertise and the high value of our machinery, operators and processes to improve the quality and distribution of water for the entire province of Panama.
The work consists of the construction of a pumping station on the Chagres River that will carry the water to the Gamboa water treatment plant, which will be connected to Panama City's water supply ring connecting 19 km of supply and distribution pipes, guaranteeing the supply of water 24 hours to more than 200,000 Panamanians in the city its neighboring districts.
